Linthicum, MD (March 14, 2018 - The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission is providing this bulletin to clarify the qualifying patient and caregiver attestation requirements included in COMAR 10.62.30.05. The attestation must be completed and signed by the qualifying patient or caregiver on the initial visit to each licensed dispensary before medical cannabis is dispensed. Thereafter, the attestation must be completed and signed by the qualifying patient or caregiver once per calendar year at each dispensary where the patient makes a purchase. A completed and signed attestation is not required prior to each purchase by a qualifying patient or caregiver.

This bulletin does not change, remove, or replace any existing regulations under COMAR 10.62.
