Licensee Quarterly Reporting Requirements

Linthicum, MD (April 3, 2018) - The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) is providing this bulletin to remind all licensed grower, processors, and dispensaries operating in the State to submit a quarterly report to the Commission on or before April 30, 2018. The initial reporting period will include patient, product, and sales information for the period of December 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.

Beginning with the April 1 to June 30, 2018 reporting period, the reporting schedule will follow the chart outlined in Table 1 (below). Any grower, processor or dispensary licensed prior to March 31, 2018, must submit a report to the Commission on or before April 30, 2018.

Licensed Dispensaries
As required by Health-General Article, §13-3307(i), each licensed dispensary must include the following in its report:

  • The number of unique and total patients served;
  • The type and amount of medical cannabis dispensed; and
  • If available, a summary of clinical outcomes, including adverse events and any cases of suspected diversion (e.g., return of medical cannabis products, or adverse health events such as rash or seizure).

Licensed Growers, Processors, and Dispensaries

In addition, COMAR 10.62 requires licensed growers, processors, and dispensaries to submit a list of products offered during the previous quarter and the cannabinoid content of each product.

The Commission will disseminate a reporting template for use in developing each quarterly report. Quarterly reports should not include the personal health information (PHI) of any registered patient or caregiver.
