Licensee Quarterly Reporting Requirements

All licensees are required to submit a quarterly report on the list of products offered. In addition, licensed dispensaries must submit a report on patients served and medical cannabis dispensed (for details see below).

Quarterly reports may be generated through METRC and uploaded to the Commission through an on-line portal. Instructions for exporting and uploading/submitting the quarterly reports are attached. All licensees must use the on-line portal to submit the reports.

Licensed Dispensaries

As required by Health-General Article, §13-3307(i), each licensed dispensary must include the following in its report:

  1. The number of unique and total patients served;
  2. The type and amount of medical cannabis dispensed; and
  3. If available, a summary of clinical outcomes, including adverse events and any cases of suspected diversion (e.g., return of medical cannabis products, or adverse health events such as rash or seizure).

Licensed Growers, Processors, and Dispensaries

In addition, COMAR 10.62 requires licensed growers, processors, and dispensaries to submit a list of products offered during the previous quarter and certain product specifications.

All questions may be directed to reporting.mmcc@maryland.gov. Failure to submit the required report(s) may result in a fine, sanction, or both.
